4 Artists Who Make GOOD Christian Music (and give away free dowloads)

I meet a lot of people who are fed up with the Christian Contemporary Music Movement (CCM). I must say, however, that I have come across some amazing Christian music in the past year. There are some legitimate artists who are pumping out great new tunes to old hymns that bode excellently for church singing and for easy listening in the car (or any time). The stereotype that there is no good Christian music is simply not true!

Indelible Grace is one such group. The group grew out of a need to minister to college students studying at Belmont University and includes such artists as Sandra McCracken, Derek Webb, Matthew Perryman Jones, and Jeremy Casella.

Here is one of their most popular songs, Jesus I My Cross Have Taken:

Next is Page CXVI. This is a beautiful rendition of Come Thou Fount Every Blessing:

Page CXVI is giving away a bunch of music this month.

Next is Derek Webb who has an excellent song on the church (pardon the sappy pictures accompanying the video):

Chris Rice has an excellent CD full of soft hymns called Peace Like A River: The Hymns Project:

Also check out Aaron Keyes and Jars of Clay.

If you're into rap, maybe Lecrae or Propaganda.

  1. I'm looking for the sheet music for the version of Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing (Acapella) by Mark Hogan that you have posted on you tube. Can you help me?
